Nauticus is looking for a few great women involved in STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) fields to interact with and inspire their future successors.
The Nauticus Education Department is hosting a Women in STEM day on Saturday, March 29th from 10-5 and we would like you to participate.
March is Women’s History month and to celebrate we want to showcase women in STEM-related fields. During this event you have the opportunity to talk to guests about your experience in your field. In essence this is a career day with the intent of encouraging young women to become more involved in STEM education and professions. The goal of this event is to inform and inspire young women through direct engagement with STEM professionals like yourself.
As a part of Women in STEM Day, Nauticus is hosting the annual Egg Drop competition sponsored by the American Society of Engineers and the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics. Representatives from these groups will be on hand to discuss their careers and showcase their work to interested parties.
This event is being promoted through press releases, social media and face to face marketing. We are attending a Girl Scout event in early March where we will promote this opportunity to our target audience.
If you are interested please respond to this email and I will add you to our list of partners for the day. Let me know if you need anything special at your table like electricity, extra chairs, etc. Can’t come for the whole day? That’s OK. Let me know what suits your schedule and we’ll make it happen.
